Call for Research Participants!

Make a Difference in Less Than 15 Minutes

We’re delighted to pass along this flier created by one of our amazingly talented WAVES Makers, Hannah, who is looking for participants for her current research study on identity and belonging. The survey takes just less than fifteen minutes to complete, and your input will help increase our knowledge of queer Asian American mental health and support intervention development. Here’s the eligibility requirements:

  • Must be 18+
  • Must identify as Asian or Asian American (including mixed race)
  • Must identify as gay, bisexual, pansexual, or lesbian (inclusive of all gender identities)
  • Must have disclosed sexual orientation to at least one parent
  • Must reside in the United States
  • Must be able to read & understand English

Research is at the heart of so much of what we do at WAVES, so we know intimately how important studies like these really are. Asian Americans—much like many other minorities—remained underrepresented in data. But when we bridge those gaps, it lays the groundwork to serve these communities productively and proactively.
