Naialie Lor is a student at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in Medical Anthropology with a minor in Health and Society. She is also on the pre-nursing track, with interests in health equity, patient advocacy, and the social and cultural factors that shape health outcomes. She interned at UCA WAVES in summer 2025 and supported data focused research and program initiatives, including data organization and community outreach support. She also serves as the Fundraising Chair for the Hmong Student Association of Carolina and volunteers at the UNC Women’s hospital and UNC Family Medicine clinic. She hopes to work in community health as a nurse to expand access to care and provide culturally responsive care through patient-centered education.
