Our Board: Diana Ding

Yuyan (Diana) Ding, MBA is a seasoned finance and data analytics leader with more than 25 years of experience across banking, insurance, and financial services. She has held senior analytical and management roles at institutions including Truist Financial, Genworth Financial, McKesson, and Capital One, where she specialized in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, asset-liability management, and executive-level financial reporting.

Throughout her career, Diana has led complex financial analyses supporting capital planning, risk management, and strategic decision-making, while managing cross-functional and global teams. Her expertise spans advanced data analytics, forecasting models, and financial systems, with extensive experience using SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other enterprise tools. She has supported executive leadership with clear, data-driven insights to guide organizational strategy and financial sustainability.

Diana holds an MBA from The College of William & Mary, where she was awarded a merit-based graduate assistantship, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She has also served in numerous leadership and volunteer roles, including nonprofit finance and governance positions.

Diana joined the UCA WAVES Finance Team in 2025 and now serves as Treasurer of the UCA WAVES Board, bringing deep financial expertise, analytical rigor, and a strong commitment to community service. We are grateful for her leadership and stewardship in advancing the WAVES mission.
