Operations Team: Laura Liu
Laura Liu is a dedicated community volunteer and advocate in the area of education, youth development, and mental health. She is a member of the UCA Executive Team focusing on youth programs. She currently serves as a Board of Education Trustee in Scarsdale, NY, as the first Chinese-American elected to this office in the town’s history.
Prior to her school board service, Laura had served as Board Trustee and President of the Scarsdale Public Library. She also served on multiple school committees to promote multiculturalism, diversity, inclusion and AAPI curriculum in K-12 schools. Laura was formerly President of Parents & Children Education Club (PCE Club), an organization serving thousands of Chinese American families on holistic education, positive identity development and mental health. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Peking University and an MBA from Cornell University.
