Chairman, United Karen Community of Raleigh

I have worked in small scale sustainable agriculture for over 10 years.
Before coming to work at the Karen Community Farm I owned my own
vegetable, herb and cut flower farm in Middlesex, NC. Growing food to
provide for my community has always been at the heart of my motivation to
farm. Coming to KCF has allowed me to combine my love of farming with
the opportunity to support and learn from the Karen community and culture.
I love working with the farm and this community and expanding my
knowledge of farming and vegetables while supporting the Karen! I work as
the Farm Manager and Project Director for the Karen Community Farm. I’m
also a mom and have a dog, two cats, a parakeet and chickens! I love to
cook, explore new foods, run and hang out with friends!
