North Carolina Team: Hong Wang

Hong Wang graduated from Zhejiang University and obtained her Ph.D in Applied Sciences from UNC Chapel Hill. She is a researcher using interdisciplinary approaches to study how cells repair DNA damage and maintain genome integrity to prevent cancer.

She has been living in the RTP area for more than 20 years. Her background in education, research, project management and grant writing prepared her well to support WAVES Peer Support Team.
