WAVES Makers Student Council: Elean Chen

My name is Ellean Chen and I am 15 years old. I am an older sibling and second generation immigrant; both of my parents came to the U.S. after finishing college in their home country, China. I went through the magnet education program from Kittredge Magnet School to Chamblee High School in Georgia, where I am currently a freshman. I am a dedicated student with a strong interest in math and biology. Some clubs I am involved in at school include Beta club, HOSA, Model UN, and Interact. These clubs strengthen leadership, communication, and organization skills, as well as being helpful for students’ socialization. Drawing, cooking, gyming, and gaming are some activities I enjoy doing in my free time. I hope to maintain a healthy lifestyle and high marks in school. I look forward to new experiences and learning new skills.
