Unpacking Trauma & Memory

Are you located near Lancaster, PA? Well, we’ve got some exciting news!

This Saturday, April 11th, our very own creative director Alli will premiere her film at Millersville University in observation of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The documentary, titled Paper Birds, is a 30-minute piece exploring the complexities of trauma and memory and the delayed onset of PTSD. Following her own journey grappling with recovered memories, it aims to to illuminate a common but historically stigmatized phenomenon, and demonstrate that you can heal even in the absence of answers.

Following the screening, a panel will be held highlighting how trauma shows up in our lives and various paths toward healing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with local organizations and university resources through on-site tabling.
