Another Amazing Event in the Books!

We were elated to attend the 2026 Lunar New Year Gala at Prestonwood Country Club last week.

The gathering was organized by Move NC, NCAA, and the office of Ya Liu, Representative for NC House District 21. A number of our WAVES team members were in attendance, including several of our lovely partners! As put beautifully by our executive director, Lily, “Nothing is more family like than celebrating this very special holiday together over a delicious meal.”

There is so much healing in celebrating our heritage. What an awesome evening filled with delicious food, live music, and a whole lot of culture and connection!
