Conference Keynote Speaker Highlight: Gang (Julie) Xie

We are honored to feature Gang (Julie) Xie, PhD as the closing keynote speaker at the 2025 AAPI Youth Mental Health Conference!

Dr. Xie is a school psychologist, licensed educational psychologist, and a leading expert in Positive Psychology with over 20 years of experience supporting students, families, and educators. She earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Temple University and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at Sofia University, where she teaches Positive Psychology and Leadership. Dr. Xie has published two books and is a frequent speaker at national conferences in China, dedicated to applying Positive Psychology in education, parenting, and workplace wellness.

Her session, “Supporting Student Wellness: Guidance for Chinese-Speaking Families,” will be delivered in Chinese and provide culturally relevant insights for parents and caregivers. This inspiring evening keynote will empower families with practical strategies to promote student well-being, strengthen family relationships, and support mental health at home and in the community. The session will conclude with small-group discussions tailored to the unique needs of Chinese-speaking families.
