In-person Peer Support

At WAVES, we believe that as parents, we must grow ourselves first in relationships before we can expect our children to do the same. This Monday, we had the privilege of bringing together an incredible group of moms for a morning of connection over tea, which was the perfect blend of Self Care and Learning.

After two months of planning, we were thrilled to host our first in-person peer support meeting in Cary/Morrisville! Huge thanks to our amazing peer facilitator, Anne, whose passion and leadership made the event so special (and we can’t forget her stunning outfit ).

We’re also excited to announce the launch of our online peer support group this week, as well as a new book club—all focused on parents and mental health education. WAVES is proud to continue making ripples of change in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to James Miller, Kelly Crosbie and NCDHHS Division of Health Benefits (NC Medicaid) for your ongoing support!
