On Valentine’s Day, UCA WAVES continued its mission of sharing love and hope. Our Executive Director, Lily, visited Karen Farm with checks from our generous donors and gifts she personally prepared for the children. She spent time with the family, meeting the kids and witnessing firsthand the impact the kindness we have made.

The youngest daughter of the family, bright and full of potential, couldn’t help but ask where her mommy was—her sadness serving as a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Her father, overwhelmed with gratitude, shared how much WAVES’ support has helped them through this difficult time. To show his appreciation, he gifted Lily a beautiful handmade bag, crafted with care over several days on the farm.

This is what WAVES is about—compassion, community, and making a difference where it’s needed most. Our fundraiser closes on February 27, and every donation helps bring comfort and support to families like this one.
