Historic Success: From June 27 to 30, 2024, the 4th Chinese American Convention was successfully held in Washington DC. More than 700 people from all over the United States gathered at the Omni Hotel to participate in the event. As an important part of the convention, the National Chinese American Mental Health Summit presented a stellar line-up of renowned speakers and rich programs, engaging a large and active audience.” Some feedback from our survey includes “It’s wonderful to attend one summit and meet a range of agencies/organizations that are in the large ecosystem of youth mental health for AAPIs. Convention Registration

Regular Registration Rates (After June 10, 2024)

• $225 Regular Registration w/o Gala Dinner for Youth
• $325 Regular Registration with Gala Dinner for Youth
• $350 Regular Registration w/o Gala Dinner
• $450 Regular Registration with Gala Dinner

The registration fee covers all youth and adults convention programs, two receptions, two luncheons, with/without Gala and Award Dinner of your choice. It does not include transportation and hotel accommodations. After you register, a welcome letter will be emailed to you, containing a link to book hotel rooms at UCA Convention group rate.

Apply for Community Showcase

We are accepting community showcase applications ( including the Youth Conference ). It will be a national platform for you to showcase the program you have been running and highlight your contributions to the community. It will also be a networking opportunity for you to connect with other leadings organizations in the AAPI mental health field.

In 2022, the convention invited about 60 organizations, 30 of which were youth organizations, to participate in the first ever Community Showcase throughout the weekend. Attendees visited the showcase hall where each organization had a designated table, providing opportunity to network and connect.

For this year’s 2024 convention, we hope to feature even more organizations. The information about your organizations or youth programs collected here is used solely to prepare for the convention.

Designated as our convention location, the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert St. NW, Washington, DC 20008 is conveniently located in the capital, a perfect place to explore many historic destinations in the DC-metro area. The convention offers a limited number of rooms at discounted rate specially reserved for UCA convention and youth convention attendees, so please make your reservations as soon as possible. Students who need to be paired up with other students to share a hotel room, please make a note when registering
